General Info
Enjoy campfire hangs before and after the stories! Bring your own camping gear, and join in the pre-event campfire gathering to connect with fellow attendees, share your own biking anecdotes, and build excitement for the night ahead. After the storytelling, Holllis and her band will be playing some sings for us under the gazebo as we gather around the campfire to swap more stories, share laughs, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
We'll provide the campfire, but it's your stories and camaraderie that will truly make this a night to remember!
🍔🌭 Food: Feel free to bring your meals or favorite snacks for the night and the next morning. We'll also have food available for purchase, including hot dogs, veggie dogs, and hummus wraps on Saturday night (while supplies last). All proceeds go to support Meals on Wheels Central Texas , making this camping experience even more meaningful.
🔥 BBQ Grills: Happy Horse Hotel has got BBQ grills on-site! Bring your grilling supplies and favorites to enjoy a cookout under the stars. It's another way to make the campout uniquely yours.

EVENT SCHEDULE
Saturday:
10:30 AM: Group ride takes off from East Side Pedal Pushers.
2:30 PM: Campers begin to arrive at Happy Horse. Set up your gear, find your perfect spot, and kick off the weekend!
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Happy Hour Session: Unwind, grab some food, mingle, and connect.
6:30 PM: Grab your seats for the highlight of the night – Bike Story Night!
6:45 PM: Bike Story Night Begins: Sit back, relax, and be captivated by inspiring tales.
9:30 PM: Storytelling resumes, followed by music from Hollis and the band by the campfires.
11:00 PM: Quiet time starts
Sunday:
8:00 AM: Rise and shine! Enjoy complimentary coffee and snacks to kick start your morning.
10:30 AM: Group Ride Roll Out: Get ready for a scenic ride back to Austin, creating more biking memories.

We're opening additional submissions for one or two entries of each category: bike poem, short fictional story, or even an original song if you've got the talent! 🚲Featured Storytellers shine with up to 12 minutes to share their stories, complete with photos on the projector. Whether it's fond memories of childhood bike rides, thrilling adventures, or how bikes have made a significant impact on your life. (must sign up by Nov. 7th) 🚲Wild Cards: It's not too late to share your own story! Grab a 5-7 minute slot as a wild card storyteller—no pictures required, just your passion for storytelling. Sign up at the event to keep those storytelling vibes alive!
